Barboursville Vineyard

Established in 1976 on the former estate of Virginia Governor James Barbour, renowned wine producer Gianni Zonin’s sole estate outside of Italy features estate-bottled vintages of European heritage, along with various landmark attractions: the 1804 Inn and Vineyard Cottages, the ruins of the Jefferson-designed Governor’s mansion, and the Palladio Restaurant.

Tasting fee: $7/person for tasting of current vintages. Winery tours are free and run hourly on weekend days.
