Reynard Florence Vineyard
Roe and Dee Allison first purchased the Barboursville property on which their vineyard now stands in 1976. After raising two sons, the couple enrolled in Piedmont Virginia Community College’s initial enology and viticulture programs, graduating with certificates in 2006 and hence launching Reynard Florence Vineyard and Winery. Since then, they’ve won multiple Governor’s Cup awards for both single-origin wines and wine blends, specializing in Petit Manseng and other grape varietals of southwestern France and the Rhone Valley. The vineyard and foothills provide expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with the winery and tasting room having a pleasantly homey feel.
